Hardworking Iowans are doing everything right and still struggling to achieve the American dream. Housing costs keep rising, and it's getting harder to afford a place to live. Part of the problem, America doesn't have enough skilled workers and builders. That's why I'm fighting to train more plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and HVAC techs, and getting shop classes back in every high school, because if you're working hard, you deserve to own a home.
