We got two boys, 10 and 12, in Iowa public schools. Keeping them safe and healthy and making sure they get a good education is everything to me. Like most Iowa parents, we want to focus on math and reading, not political agendas from either extreme. And like all Iowans, I want us to get back to having the best public schools in the country, not in the bottom half. We're losing to Nebraska, folks. As governor, I'll fight for Iowa's public schools because my kids are counting on them too.
