I've been doing this 25 years and it has never been this hard. So many of these things are out of my control, and they're at the whim of some bad political decisions. John Husted has voted 13 times for the war in Iran, and it's had a direct effect on farmers. Diesel fuel has doubled since last spring. Cost of fertilizer tripled, and John Husted supports the tariffs which have driven the prices down, which we can sell our crops. At a certain point, it's not just politics anymore. When you start taking money out of my pocket, it becomes personal. I'm Sherrod Brown, and I approve this message.
