This is the community I grew up in on the south side of Lansing, full of good people who worked hard. It was tough, but it wasn't hopeless. We are losing our young men and women to violence and crime. Something has to change. Tom Barrett reached out to me and asked what we needed to make a difference. He met with us, learned what we were doing, and delivered the resources to change lives. Tom Barrett is a servant to this community because he cares and he delivers. I'm Tom Barrett, and I approve this message.
