When my mom got cancer, I watched her struggle to pay her bills. It's a desperate feeling knowing the drug companies can charge whatever they want and we'll do whatever necessary to pay. That's why I've been obsessed with lowering drug costs, passing the laws that allow Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices. And that's why I wrote a law signed by President Trump forcing drug companies to show their actual prices.
