S. Capitol on january 6th. Enough is enough. This is about our democracy, it's not about maintaining power, the majority in the House, it's not about a potential reelection. This is something I have never seen in my time covering Capitol Hill supporters of then president trump assaulting police officers. You know, the work of the committee is important. We can't let something like this happen again. People might say, well why would you do that? You might not get reelected. I don't care because I did the right thing. I do.
