Nobody in Oregon would say, let's keep doing exactly what we've been doing. Certainly not me. I called for a homelessness state of emergency nearly three years ago while kate Brown did nothing and Christine drazen killed efforts to make our streets safer. I'll enforce the laws on the books, increase public safety funding and get folks connected to treatment. We certainly don't need a red state takeover to clean up the damn trash.
