With a mortgage, student loans and now rising costs like you, I work to stretch a dollar, but I got into public service to help others, not myself, and I believe public officials are wrong to use their position for private gain. It's why I joined a bipartisan group of republicans and democrats to ban members of Congress from trading stocks to prevent insider trading. It's the right thing, and I still think that matters.
